Each PLUSTEAM steam sterilizer is manufactured according to the MDD 93/42/EEC & PED 97/23/EEC; technical
standards EN 60601-1-2 (EMC), EN 60601-1 (LVD), EN 285 (Steam Sterilizers), EN ISO 17665-1 (Validation & Routine
Control) and EN 13445 (Pressure Vessels, from -1 to -5). Quality of each product is documented through EN ISO 9001
(Quality Systems) and EN ISO 13485 (Quality Systems for Medical Devices) standards. Safety of device is ensured
through electrical current leak protection, short circuit protection, emergency stop, locking doors under pressure, safety
valve, not enabling to open 2 doors at the same time (for pass though models only), water level control in generator,
safety system to prevent door closing in case of an obstacle and failure or error alarms (visual, audio & printed)
